Giving At Calvary
“But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.
1 Chronicles 29:14
Your giving is extremely important. It helps Calvary thrive as a faith community living out God’s Mission. There are a number of ways to give at Calvary.
What does the Bible say about giving?
As it says in Acts 20:35, "In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how He himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Your gifts come in many shapes and sizes. Sharing of your time and abilities is not only a blessing, but a remarkable way of giving back. Being an usher or a communion assistant during worship services is a wonderful way to give back to your church family. If you like to tinker around on cars or you're a fix-it person, join our Hardhat Ministry. Reach out to those in our community that are in need with our Hunger and Justice Ministry. Take a look at our Serving Opportunities Reference Guide and see where God calls you. Then fill out the Serving Opportunities Form and hand it in to the office. We can’t wait to see what God will do through you!
Giving
“Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7. Please prayerfully decide in your heart what to give. Your offering can be given in three ways: in person during worship, online through this website, or with ACH debit.
Calvary Lutheran uses Tithe.ly, an online giving platform, making it simple for people to donate through our church website. Transactions are transmitted using 256 Bit TSL/SSL and card data only touches Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant systems. Card details are tokenized, stored, and encrypted on industrial grade servers. Tithe.ly security is on par with leading financial services and banking institutions.
We have a number of opportunities for giving.
Please note if you would like your offering to go into something other than the General Fund
